PS // PLEASE NOTE // All the steel components can be re-used, on any top in the future. So you can always upgrade the size, the colour or even the material to solid oak, ash or even pine. The legs are 4mm thick and will comfortably accommodate tops up to 2M x 1M. All steel is marine grade powder coated, so they can easily become an outdoor table that won't rust for 20+ years. Good to know that you're not buying a specific size desk and they can and should be used again and again, forever and ever ; )

THE OAK DESKTOP // we think that our oak is quite honestly the best and most beautifully made, cut, sanded and seal oak in all of South Africa. We've seen and made a great deal of oak tops, we feel that our finish is absolutely world class. SOLID AMERICAN OAK TOP // treated, soaked and seriously sealed with tough water-based  high traffic sealer, made to last, easy to maintain, and very easy to repair.

SOLID OAK SIMPLE SLOT // the slot takes cables through the desktop (not over back) to the underside, and then powers up with a multi-plug attached to our power fin.

SOME INTERESTING OAK INFO //  Nothing is cooler than a warm oak, or more contemporary, elegant, and lasts a lifetime. Oak is widely regarded as a strong & moderately dense wood slab. Durability on the Janka scale which ranges from 0 to 4,000. In this ranking, European Oak has a hardness rating of 1360, putting it in the acceptable hardness range for a dining table. Not too soft that it’ll crack easily from daily use, but at the same time, it's not too hard that furniture makers are unable to work with it. Great resistance against fungal infestations as well, making it less prone to rot and decay. This is due to its high density and natural properties inherent in the wood itself. As such, European Oak has the strength and durability to not only withstand everyday use but also the properties to fight against fungus.
